From a young age, I was fascinated by biology and the sciences. But as I watched my sisters move through medical school, I sensed that my own path to healing would be different. Everything changed when an acupuncturist relieved me of the excruciating chest pains I had carried since childhood—pain that conventional medicine couldn’t explain or resolve. That experience opened a door I never closed.

I went on to earn my degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA—a rigorous 3½-year program where I also became certified in Massage Therapy and Chinese Herbal Medicine. My journey continued in China, where I completed hospital rounds in Chengdu and Shanghai under the mentorship of renowned Doctors of Chinese Medicine. There, I trained extensively in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine with a clinical focus spanning cardiology, gynecology, pulmonology, neurology, orthopedics, and gastroenterology.

In 2015, Janaye Volk and I opened Pulse Community Care with a mission to help others reclaim their quality of life through natural medicine. Today, as Clinical Director at Pulse, I welcome patients of all kinds. My greatest strength lies in working with complex, layered cases or those seeking comprehensive, in-depth care. I am known for weaving together the full picture—physical, emotional, and energetic—and helping patients make sense of their healing journey with clarity and confidence. I am currently seeing patients at Pulse’s satellite location, inside Prism Spine and Joint. Here, I provide advanced acupuncture for EDS, POTS, orthopedic concerns, as well as general patients who want or need a more in-depth level of care.

Above all, I am honored to witness transformation—helping people walk out not only with relief, but with laughter and a lighter, brighter outlook on life.
